Maou episode#1.. what can I say? Totally blown away! Even if spoiled by all those promo clips I was totally blown away! The mood, the setting, the lighting, the camera work, the pacing, the soundtrack, and last but not least; intense acting by both Toma and Ohchan! *spoilers ahead*

I thought Toma was good playing the over-the-top atsui detective running and yelling throughout the episode. He didn't seem to be too over-acting since that's the kind of character he's playing, as if if he started to slow down and reflect his dark past would consume him... hence he had to keep running and chasing, to redeem and to run away before the past catches up *eeks cliche button was on*... so yes, his acting didn't distract me at all; especially the reenactment scene, that was impressive. I could feel his sweat and anguish.  And the scene at the end where he's clutching his head digging into his knees was heart breaking. It's so sad that the incident happened when they were so young.

Now Ohchan. Ohno-san. He truly blown me away! So much emotion's going on on an emotionless face, how did you do that, Ohno-san? The eyes, from profound sadness to heartless cold in a split second. The way he delivered the lines, the movements, his beautiful hands and fingers clutching the knife or the harmonica. Break my heart. Gone speechless now.

Ninochan's cameo was too short! And I gotta say Ohchan's acting kinda defeated Ninochan's in that scene xD Gotta give the boy work or he'll get rusty joking joking. Then again, to be fair, I think that's the character too... if I were him I would be a bit off too; so Nino's able to convey that naturally heheh. Ah make me thirst for more Nino's acting!

The rest of the supporting actors were good too, I'm still not warm to the girl actress though, hope she will improve.

Apart from acting, I like the pace and cut scenes; they were extremely well done. For instance: Intro of Ohchan's character at the narration of the story of lucifer; and at the start we see Ohchan walking along the corridor while Toma running on the street; the girl commented the person who wrote the letter and sent the card was heartless then switched to a crying Ohchan; the interchange of Toma and Ohchan's expressions during the reenactment... there were many and these were just a few. I haven't been excited for a series for a long long time now, truly impressed with MAOU!! MA-OH! <3

heh changed my layout to be maou like =D BtwI forgot to talk about the opening song "truth"! long comment short: love it! even if the opening images look so much like anime opening.. what I'd expected from death note or something xDD love the song too of course! write more another time!

and I was wearing my red gloves and using red pen today, Toma would be proud heheh.
Plus we will get to see Nino's act too! It's been such a long time!
Speaking of Nino, is he gonna change his diary to "Magic Nikki X"?
"Magic Otaku" is even more nerdy than "Game Otaku".. just saying...
and he seriously looked like a magic tragic in that Utaban Talk lols.
Anyway, catch up and reply more later.

PS: Forgot to mention, after watching those countless of promos.. one could pretty much tell Toma's character's involvement 11 years ago... spoilers much? xD

Lately i can't get no sleep for some reason. So i'm sick all day and can't eat either. The phenomenon occured since i have the new notebook, i wonder where is the connection lol;;;; whatsoever.....this night i could sleep again (probably for i changed the place of feet and head when lying in bed...). And i can eat. And i'm feeling well. Photosynthesis is possible too.

Yesterday i was even outside for a little less than 2 hours ^_^. Oh yeah i'm so proud. Post office......(sent away some documents....lalala for uni) Visited old places from elementary school times. There's a small hill at the school with a tree on top. There's a fence around the tree, and i tried sitting on the fence, balancing....i'm not free from giddiness. But it was nice. The guy taking a 1-minute-nap on a bench at the bottom of the hill probably didn't notice me. <3 Then i visited grandma's grave. The second time after the funeral over one year ago. I'm a shame.

I want to go rope-skipping and see-saw.

ps. gonna present the uchiwas later this week ^_^..........damn, wearing this ankle length shirt and walking around outside makes me feel like superman. Or Morita Shinobu Ä_Ä......wear some cape, it gives you confidence XD.

I'll admit, this is not really one of my top favorites out of Nino's solos, but the lyrics are really pretty and so sad (vintage Nino?) and I really really like it. ♥
